The two founding partners, Janet Biglari M.A and Sevim Mustafa MSc., are approved NHS providers of Specialist Weight Management Psychotherapy Clinics and Obesity Training Programmes. Both partners also sit on the Specialist Commissioning Single Patient Funding Panel for Morbid Obesity Services in the Kent Wide Region. Janet and Sevim are experts in the field of bariatric surgery and work both privately and within the NHS with a number of leading Bariatric Consultants. Their particular interest is in the provision of psychological clinics offering pre-operative patient assessments and longer term psychotherapy. The practice also has links with Professor Julia Buckroyd, author, trainer and one of the UK’s leading authorities on eating disorders and obesity.
